"This piece was created to represent balance needed within everything we see or do. The beings shown are two serpents and a thunderbird, both being protectors of water and sky. There are stories on the battles between these beings, the symbolism falling back on how there is chaos within the divide. I was given a prompt to work with which was the changing of weather or seasons. With the weather being vastly different every day, those thunder beings come to help when needed. They need to work with that water to bring life back into the plants, the air, and into us. This relationship shows that idea of working with either side in order to exist with peace."

Raised in a family where singing and dancing were central to daily life, she has been connected to her culture through movement, creativity and music from a young age. Her digital artwork draws from both Anishinaabe and Dahkota traditions, with a strong influence from Woodland style—bold, symbolic, and story-rich. Through her work, Clarity honours her lineage while carving space for contemporary Indigenous expression.
